The relationship with our suppliers is established through general contracting conditions that regulate commercial relations for the benefit of lasting commercial agreements and mutual satisfaction, enabling us to obtain the best economic, quality and service results.

With this purpose, this Supplier Management Policy has been developed, which highlights the economic and quality factors of the services provided, as well as the integrity and compliance of suppliers with current legislation regarding labour, tax, occupational health and safety, human rights, data protection, security and confidentiality and environmental protection.

Responsible Purchasing as part of our Comprehensive Management System

With its commitment to the environment and responsible purchasing, Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. pursues management that minimises the impact of its operations on the environment and preserves natural resources. In this sense, Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. has a Comprehensive Management System for its processes that are governed by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, obtaining its certifications annually and it encourages the promotion of social responsibility policies using the ECO VADIS platform, as a means of achieving its goals.

Supplier Management and Sustainable Purchasing Policy

The Supplier Management Policy of Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. includes the procedures for selecting suppliers and making purchases, seeking to avoid conflicts of interest and obtain mutual benefit, strengthening its identity and remaining a responsible and sustainable company.

Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. and its commitments to meet the established objectives:

• Selecting suppliers under clear procedures, objectively and with equal opportunities, avoiding favouritism that harms free competition.
• Complying with and enforcing the established Code of Ethics.
• No employee will obtain any benefit from the award of a contract, and the acceptance of any item or incentive that may influence the objective contracting criteria is prohibited.
• Selecting those suppliers whose conditions, by means of a contract, allow the timely fulfilment of the previously established targets.
• Selecting those suppliers committed to compliance with current legislation, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organisation, the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, environmental protection and compliance with minimum occupational health and safety standards.
• Offering adequate communication that favours management, decision-making and the business relationship, promoting profitability for both parties.
• Establishing continuous improvement and evaluation mechanisms that help prevent risks.
• Complying with the deadline and payment method stipulated in the contract.

In order to meet the targets, Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. expects its suppliers to:

• Commit to the targets stipulated in the contract, fulfilling the agreed commitments in a timely manner.
• Meet the highest quality standards in all products supplied and services rendered.
• Comply with legislation, regulations and contractual agreements, staying away from any practice of corruption, extortion or embezzlement.
• Provide their employees with a safe work environment, protect the human rights of their employees and treat them with dignity and respect, without engaging in discriminatory practices, forced labour or the employment of minors, adopting the commitments established in local and state laws, as well as in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organisation and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
• Be respectful of the environment, establishing means to prevent leaks and accidental emissions, in addition to using natural resources responsibly and economically, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. assumes the following responsibilities to meet the targets:

• Maintaining a permanent commitment to the environment, which is why it seeks to preserve it in each of its business line processes. In recent years, Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. has adopted measures to reduce the energy consumption of its facilities, in addition to water and fuel consumption. On the other hand, emissions into the atmosphere have been reduced and a responsible and effective waste recycling system has been implemented, having implemented a Zero Paper Policy.
• In order to publicise its Corporate Social Responsibility, Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. makes the Corporate Responsibility Policy, the Comprehensive Management Policy for Quality, the Environment, Occupational Safety and its Privacy and Computer Security Policies, as well as the current Code of Ethics, available on its website to all interested parties, in addition to this Supplier Management Policy.
• Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L. applies a responsible purchasing policy to avoid adverse situations that make it difficult to achieve the established targets. To this end, the procedures that regulate the process have been established and a supplier risk analysis has been prepared that includes the impact that non-compliance with the contract would entail.
• All of this within the framework of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and their Purchasing and Subcontracting Procedures, Environmental Operational Oversight Procedures and Process Control Procedures.

Entry into Force and Validity of the Policy

This document has been approved by the Board of Directors of Ibérica Semiconductores de Potencia S.L., coming into force on that same date and being fully valid as long as there is no modification to it.
